DREAD-LOCK WEREWOLVES
(A Speculative Evolution Poem)
Across the orange tainted sky of dusk,
hunting Swamp Goons in season musk,
are savage creatures, dog-like, too,
but nothing like you'd see in a zoo!
Their smiles are gnarly,
they don't eat plants, like wheat, or barley,
but have a lust for living flesh,
and will tear straight though your armored mesh,
to reach your salty meat inside,
to which they take a certain pride,
in making humankind their prey,
if you're unwary, your life you'll pay!
