YES, GRAFFITI "DOES" HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH HIP HOP!

Although Seen and many other old school graffiti artists say that graffiti was not a part of HIP HOP, and are indeed CORRECT, there is also a vastly important aspect that is NOT given credit.

That is that graffiti was INDEED spread and INTRODUCED to much of the world THROUGH Hip Hop.

If you compare those that got introduced to graffiti alone, to those that got introduced to the culture through Hip Hop, it's a landslide overture for those around the world, who were introduced and entered graffiti culture via Hip Hop.

Although graffiti did start BEFORE Hip Hop, and originally NOT an element of Hip Hop, it would be downright silly to say Hip Hop was NOT instrumental in spreading it around the world!

This FACT alone, does indeed MAKE it a part of Hip Hop, since such a massive influence should warrant it as a genuine element of it.
