BRAINWASHING CHILDREN AND HOW THE NON-BINARY, OR "IDENTIFY-AS" CULTURE IS NOT THE SAME CULTURE AS THE LGB COMMUNITY.
A TRUE trans-woman (Paula) who worked a La Cueva, went to the Chicago Puerto Rican Parade at Humbolt Park.
Along with her, was a visiting friend (Aspen), who was Nonbinary, but identified as a Trans-woman.
During their time at the parade, Paula, got a few whistles and compliments, but Aspen, was "Misgendered", meaning some folks there had recognized Aspen as a man.
This infuriated the Nonbinary person, as he was angry that he was "read", but Paula was not.
This is a true, but great example of the cultural difference of a man, Paula, who had gone through the full gender reassignment surgery, and quite frankly kept him-herself looking pretty VS the Nonbinary "person" that did nothing to make himself appear more like a woman, except for wearing some makeup and claiming verbally that he "identified" as a woman.
More so, Aspen actually blamed Paula, for his misgender incident, citing that because SHE looked more like a biological woman, it made him "stick out".
Paula turned to Aspen, and replied with a very true quote... "If you're going to live as a woman, you NEED to look like one!"
Despite the validity of Paula's claim, Aspen said that that kind of thinking was NOT a part of his nonbinary culture, adding that he felt that simply because he "identified" as a woman, the public SHOULD accept him as one.
Once again, it marks a clear difference between oldschool LGB ideals and that of the newer nonbinary culture.
