"THE PRIMATOID BAT"

The Primatoid Bat or “PB” bat is a bridge between both bat and higher primates.

For years scientists consider if bats were actually archaic primates, but in this case, these creatures are proven to be just that.

These animals creep in the high canopy and eat a verity of smaller creatures.

They are very intelligent and are considered a semi-sentient species.

The have huge glossy back eyes that act as nocturnal binoculars.

They also have huge flexible claws that can latch onto tree branches or dig into the soft edges of coral plateaus.

The colors of these beasts is determined by the season, with some bright orange yellow, and in the winter months becoming dark red and pale blue.

The most unusual thing is the lack of wings in the male species and the huge wing flaps among the females.
They have a very loud bellow, as they call each other from the high stalks of of neo-bromeliad plants that grow on the steep coral polyps.

The females have “corkscrew” wings that can suddenly unravel in a spiral formation before leaping off fungal cliffs and this gives them an instant surge of flight lift.
