Description
First in a series of art based on the mythological fairytale of Urashima Taro, a fisherman whom saves a magical turtle from bullying children. The thankful turtle turns into a Princess and takes him to her underwater kingdom.

In this scene, Urashima Taro first comes upon the children tormenting the poor turtle beachside. Taking pity for the defenseless creature, he bribes the children to leave it alone by giving them what little money he has before returning to his fishing.
