Inspired by Brave and the Bold #28 the first appearance of the Justice League of America but is technically the 2nd villain the League faced after the Appellaxians as stated in Justice League of America #9.

I wanted to give a horror movie vibe to the first time the League takes on Starro. With everyone the conqueror takes over they get like a zombie like appearance but still retaining all their knowledge and abilities they possessed normally.
With the combine will of every being under Starro's control he can overpower a Green Lantern. With a Leaguer in his thrall he knows the location of the Batcave. Overcome Wonder woman's lasso of truth, convert Martian Manhunter into one of his spores.
With the worlds most powerful heroes unable to resist the mighty conqueror, the world is truely doomed.

SUPERMAN:
Naturally the reporters of the Daily Planet are quick to report on the star fish falling out of the sky, but when those same Starfish begin attaching themselves to peoples faces mild manner Clark Kent turns into the man of action known as Superman but before he can even rip his shirt open he surrounded by his co-workers already under the conqueror's control!

My take on Superman is an amalgamation of various other Superman archtypes like Invincible who is resistant to creatures like Starro but i decided since the conqueror is ancient, in his long life he has encountered beings such as these and has had to adapt making him able to possesse Superman.

ART: my take on Clark Kent is based off of Kumail Rizvi's Kahlil; that reimagines Superman as a Muslim Pakistani. Having read a bit of the webcomic i enjoyed it and decided to use it as my base Clark Kent. However when he triggers the solar radiation in his body he gets blue skin and white hair much like electric Superman from the 90s. Even as Clark he still retains strength beyond that of a normal human and so Clark must hold back in fear of harming his friends.
