Description
The obligatory "I'm not dead, just lazy/tired/lacking motivation/lacking inspiration" is probably getting old, so I don't think it's going to be so obligatory anymore. Technically this is a day late, but the previous prompt was "Magic". I initially thought that magic would be way too broad an umbrella, especially for Walfas, with its roots in Touhou. The place is positively dripping in the stuff, so I took a more generic meaning to see if I could pin something specific down, which led to this, a comic about magic tricks (emphasis on trick).

Paneling it like this gives more freedom for the bounds of individual shots, and they frequently take less time to set up than a bunch of horizontal, full screen width boxes. The trade-off comes in the strict structure of line breaks. For example, I originally intended to simply have Marisa look worried in the same panel Reimu exposed her scheme, but because the last panel takes the full width, I needed to separate Marisa's expression into another shot to fill out the row. In hindsight, I could have tried to work with rows of uneven lengths, but I'm not sure how good that would end up looking.
