...Actually, it still makes sense; but it would have to be twilight who makes the move to make it "Romantic". I suppose that ties in with my best theory on how to ship, in that it gives the more passive in the relationship an important action to perform to create the relationship.
So yeah... Despite how strange this all is, it's possible, but someone got it the wrong way round.

Humiliated? Alright, I can buy that. She was showed up by her own lie, thanks to Snips, Snails, and (in a way) Spike. There are a few elements in the new sneak preview that makes me think something else is going on, due to Trixie's actions. I think a certain underdeveloped villain may be controlling her. Maybe.
As far as Flim and Flam go, if the rest of the Mane Six had not helped out, they would have won. They lost because they panicked and cheated. So they would at least have a reason.
