The Chasmosaurus is a plants eating cerartopsian dinosaur meaning " Opening Lizard duel " referring to it's large openings on it's bony shield - like frill around its neck, Unlike the famous Triceratops the horns where small but use for charging against it's enemies like a rhinoceros, With a length of 4.3–4.8 metres (14.1–15.7 ft) and a weight of 1.5–2 tonnes (1.7–2.2 short tons), It live during the Late Cretacious about 76-74 million years ago ; Fossils where found in western Canada, They travel in herds sometimes alone.
