It was 1997 Tawna was getting ready for tomorrow at the big race, she packed her things and heads to the car with Ami, Megumi, Liz, and Isabella, Crash runs up to her and hugs her while feeling sad, Tawna tells Crash not to worry and she promise she'll be back with him to go on new adventures, She takes off with the girls as Crash and Coco wave goodbye and hope to see each other again soon, Since the whole thing about her breaking up with crash to be with Pinstripe thing that happen in Japan was nothing more but a joke just to get rid of her, This is how I imagine her absence in the actual story of the series. She makes sure if he and his sister doing ok by contacting them on her phone while working on her career as a champion racer along with the nitro squad to win the prize. although her real trophy will happen to be the only person he loves and cares the most.
