Hiroki is a member of the martial arts family of Hakuten Clan, trained at the mountain temple. An half-Oni warrior who focuses on the opponent's moves, just like how he focus on painting. Ever since the Wurms invaded the temple, he is supported by an orb drone called "Zoumaru" and the encountered Kirin. Wherever the wind is taking him, Hayaki is set off a new journey to begin with.

Kirin no Hayate is Hayaki's default form, accessed by using the Kirin Medal in Zoumaru.

Hayaki is armed with the dual paintbrush katanas called Shodouken Ippitsu (書道剣一筆 Shodōken Ippitsu, Calligraphic Sword of One Stroke).
Mojutsu (文術 Mojutsu, Letter Technique): Hayaki can summon powers by performing a certain kanji symbol.
Orb Assistant: Hayaki was supported by Zoumaru — an orb that not just a transformation device, but able to cast an ability that Hayaki possesses.
Wind Technique: Hayaki is able to perform wind-styled ninja arts.

Hiroki has a ninja-esque design and the mask resembles the yokai he was possessed. His power Mojutsu is inspired by Mojikara from Samurai Sentai Shinkenger, where they performed the kanji symbol to summon the power.
