Egon begins to look over his notes and becomes fully engrossed in them. He's unaware to how much time has passed, day has turned into night.
And there happens to be a full moon tonight. Ironically, the effects of the eclipse haven't left him. Egon is completely oblivious to his shirt getting tighter and tighter, eventually ripping along his back.
