Diirawic and her sister, Nyanaguek, from the Sudanese fairy tail, 'Diirawic and her Incestuous Brother.'

I've always wanted to draw Diirawic! The tale says she was incredibly beautiful and everyone, even the old men, listened to her! I imagine that she was not only beautiful, but she must have incredible charisma too! When I first read the tale, I imagined her like this, but I thought Sudan was in India.... I was so happy to find it was in Africa!

Diirawic was so beautiful, her brother Teeng wanted to marry her, and did so behind her back. Diirawic was obviously upset, but her little sister Nyanaguek gave her a knife and told her to cut off her brother testicles when he was asleep, which she did and he died! Then she and the other young women all go off into the wilderness to live. There they encounter a lion, but clever little Nyanaguek tricks him each night. Then they tame the lion and he becomes their brother, and they all go back, Diirawic has 13 children (Aaaaaaargh!) and the 13th is a lion child that keeps sucking all the other childrens blood...O.o So the lion man kills it. Then End!

This looks better in real life, because the glitter is so sparkly! The man standing in the background is he brother Teeng, throw rocks at him! D:<
