This is turning out way longer than I thought it would, but here's PART ONE of my Clothing & Folds tutorial. It goes through the basics of drawing clothing and folds on your characters

I do have to correct you on one thing!
The folds by the crotch of most woman's pants/shorts actually go in horizontal lines across, rather than in that upwards direction. The direction of the folds is only significantly upwards to the shape of the pelvis if one leg is positioned in front or behind the other by a good amount, like if they were mid-step.
Other than that, I love this.
