Looky! Tis the cover of my probably-never-will-ever-complete-comic 'Delusions'!
It turned out better than i thought. Although for some reason my Photoshop refuses to save good quality pics (turns out horribly blocky, maybe there's too much colour blending?) so i had to take a screenshot and save that.
Yeeaaah.
Anyway! I would explain this cover page, but i thought...'Nah let them form their own opinion.' So now you can suffer! Wahaha suffer bitches suffer!
In other words, you can always tell me what you think it might be about. It would be...interesting.
However, if you do want a bit of clarification you can ask.

It's not really ZADR. It is really ZADF when you get down to the nitty gritty of it, but Lurker is a ZADR author, so.. that's why I said that.
Why do you think ZADR is wrong? How is it wrong? I hope you don't like it cause you think most of the fans are crazy horny sex-crazed fangirls. honestly. most of my fellow ZADR fans piss me off, because it seems all they care about is the two having sex constantly and never consider the relationships....
it is fandom.. though.. I'm not saying jhonen intended it to be that way, lord knows (and we know) he didn't XD

Why do I think ZADR is wrong? Well, for a start, like you said, the universe of Invader Zim just wasn't intended for that kind of thing. Jhonen likes to make fun of romance. Second of all, Zim is a) an alien b) several centuries older than Dib and c) from a race where their smeets are born from tubes. I have a feeling the idea of sex is...well, alien to them. Thirdly, it's obvious from the start that Zim and Dib hate each fiercely. Zim is far too stupid to even consider the idea that he and Dib might become allies, while Dib, for his part, would probably never even want to think that the only proof that he isn't crazy he's ever likely to find could end up being his friend, therefore preventing Zim from being exposed to the world and chopped up in an autopsy.
Whoa, that was long. I've been thinking about this rather a lot, if you haven't noticed. I'm tired of ZADR, and I'm, like you said, tired of sex-crazed fan-girls and their fics, because they are EVERYWHERE. And I want it to go away. I want REAL stories, dammit, and yeah, I'm kind of a canon nazi.
ANYWAY. Back to reality and off the soapbox. Mebbe I will check it out. Though I'm afraid of venturing into the Invader Zim section sometimes. I do write a little of the stuff myself, but mostly I run and scream. I will go and see what I think of it.

...Okay, um, is this still an arguement? No offence to you. And yeah, the episode was "Voting of the Doomed". I'm sorry to say that as an Australian, I have no access whatsoever to the Zim DVD's.
Anyway, eh. Rebuttal (gah, damn spelling). YES it is true Zim has a malfunctioning pak, but it works not really by giving him feelings that Irkens don't have, but by giving him freedom that his species doesn't have. He thinks for himself (if not very well) and can delude himself to heights above his station. It could, maybe, cause him to feel love, but I very much doubt it.
As for the next point, it appears to be an arguement against ZADR. I have often cited that Irkens cannot have sex because they have been bred for centuries not to. The Control Brains delete any DNA in Irkens pertaining to love, pity, forgiveness...because it would make them less effective soldiers (or something). So sex would, I think, be smack-bang in the middle of the "Deleted Emotions" list.
Finally, in this, your reasons are fairly good, but, if you remember in the episode "Vindicated" Dib took the opportunity to shriek "YOU'LL RUE THE DAY YOU EVER MET WITH PLANET EARTH!". Then he laughed very insanely. I took that as proof that Dib reeeally doesn't like Zim very much. I suppose...mebbe...I would sort of like ZADF. I guess it could happen (if you've ever heard the audio track of "Mopiness of Doom", at the end they start laughing like old friends, though they call each other names and threaten horrible death at the same time. Though by the same token in "The Return of Keef" they have to hug, and neither of them like it. In fact Dib destroys the only evidence he's ever successfully gotten because it has the hug on it). FRIENDSHIP is kind of likely if they could get past the "obstacle" and "proof" things they have going...but love, I think, is very unlikely.
Now, I do not hate ZADR in particular: slash, as a whole, in my opinion, is a creeping rash on the face of fanfiction and should be exterminated as soon as possible. I do not deny that there has been some extremely good slash, but most of it sucks. It's right up there with self-insertion: if your going to do it, make sure you do it very, very well.

Oh wow, I've heard so many of these points before.
ZIM comes from a race where their smeets are born from tubes, right. Correct. But, have you read, "The Trial"? It is obvious ZIM has a malfunctioning pak, so malfunctioning the control brains cannot even handle it. If he has a malfunctioning pak, this can lead to some interesting theories.. the paks control all memories, data, and of course, emotions (which there are none). If the pak of ZIM is indeed, malfunctioning (which it is, it's canon, is it not?) then is it not possible it could malfunction to the point ZIM would feel feelings, possibly, love, even? I didn't say ZIM would be aware of it now, and yes I hate the ZADRs where they're like "IRKENS LOVE.. ONLY RARELY AND WHEN THEY DO THEY'RE DEVOTED" it's a pathetic excuse to write ZIM off-character. I'm not usually much for the mushy ZADR shit, where ZIM and Dib are BOTH OOC (and Dib usually, gay, he's NOT GAY PEOPLE) ... and I get sick of seeing it.
No one ever also said that ZIM had to have sex, I've written a ZADR that's NC-17 and I make it pretty clear (okay, not very clear, but in the sequel to it I will) that ZIM has no sexual organs at all. Once again, going to the pak theory, what if it caused horniness, perhaps, but there was no actual thing there to go along with it? Or what if it caused elation and love but not to the point where it would be enough to want to have sex, since they have no organ in the first place? Probably not something you thought of, though I think I am the only one who has a ZADR where ZIM has no sexual organ...
ZIM and Dib hate eachother fiercly? Uh huh. Check out, "ZIM Eats Waffles"... yeh, a bunch of fierce hate there. Or even... oh man.. I forgot it. The Voting of Doom or something? Sorry this may sound completely idiotic at the moment but I'm really really tired. At the end Dib comes up to ZIM and says, "Ihateyou". It doesn't sound too fierce, mean, or too threatening at all. Watch the third DVD, as the series goes on, doesn't it seem after awhile Dib doesn't really care that much anymore? Their hate seems to turn into two little bickering arguing kids.
Oh don't worry about thinking. I've had 3 years to think about this. I also have a different perspective and respect for this, as I hated ZADR for 2 long years.
I'm a canon nazi as well, maybe you should check out some of my ZADR works (THE BETTER ONES, I have some HORRRIBLLEEE ones) and see not all ZADR authors are teh sex-crazed fangurls who write teh sex0rz and write ZIM acting like.. well.. not ZIM. It pisses the shit out of me as well.
ZADRs can become real stories. It depends on the author, you need a good author who's paid a lot of attention to the show and notices fine details -- and also doesn't whip up some goody-goody ZADR in 3 seconds.

Critical comments: just that there's a lot of open space down the bottom, and that the characters are all the same size regardless of distance from the 'camera'. Two birds with one stone: make middle-Zim a little bigger, make bottom-Zim a lot bigger. Blah blah whatever... this rocks anyway. Evil dead Zim is way cool.

I want an opinion... i so want it... i shall give you mine though... i still don't know that much about your fanchara, but by the looks of it, I think that Zim may habe intentionally killed the tallest (not in your comic, of course...) but.. yeah, so he is fucked up in the head. he might not know this...
I actually had an idea of my own, in a fucked up dream... Irkens are actually slaves, whole the REAL alien/dominatign entity is the Pak. It's a bio-mechanic parasit, and feeds from the.... emotions? segregations? of it's host. So, what actually makes Zim try to kill the tallest is the Pak, and he isn't really aware of it, as his normal brain is connected with the Paks one, so it can control what he sees/understands/knows, at a high degree. I should write that fic, wasn't it because i know i wouldn't do it justice...

i think its a touch on the noisy side (though thats more a personal composition thing more than anything else) and maybe unbalanced. dont i sound like i know what im talking about. AED looks fricken awesome (i woulda made him as black as possible with some really bright delineating highlights but seriously he looks great), Dib n ... Gaz? ... i woulda darkened a bit and faded into AED's wings, sorta so theyre there but not so strong. i really love that back set up though.
Zim out the front looks good, ZIM in the middle im not sure about, looking at it again he kinda looks good there coz it throws some bizarre disjointedness into the works. well whatever i was going to say about it ive forgotten, it looks cool
okay last thing im not sure about is those lights coming from the corner. but then again you occasionally (or always

oh, and as for the OMGWTFBBQ meaning. it seems like ZIM has a lot of demons on his shoulder, all wanting to destroy and kill him. though I couldn't see Gaz giving a shit less. and is the creepy other irken in black A.E.D or ZIM? cause if it's ZIM I could see that being as him taking a stand and conquering them all, what he envisions himself becoming or being, his own little monster to take over them all.
