TAADAAA TIS FINISHED!
All the info on the Hedone Highers (A.E.D and Izm) that i could fit into 650x400px. Oh yeah. Indeed.
It's kinda wordy and stuff...i tried to offset that with some images lol
Ahaha now i feel weird, been working on this for like...2 weeks on and off and now i've finished i feel slightly at a loss of what to do.Err, everything should be easy enough to work out.

I just want to thank you guys for all the interest you've shown in Hedone!A.E.D and Hedone!Izm, and all the questions you asked about them that made the Q&A section possible

Its interesting because Izm's character history seems to fall under reasons for the legalization of drugs. Basically, if something is outlawed under lawful trade practices, it is instead turned over to be run by criminals. Its a fact that as soon as something is being made illegal, you are not destroying a criminal element, but expanding it. Kids like Izm looking to make some money end up in the middle of this "War on Drugs" or as some call it, the "war on free trade". If you want honest research on this, check out the Penn and Teller: Bullshit! episode on The War on Drugs [link] as well as Doug Benson's documentary Super High Me [link]
As for what drug use is really like, it doesn't get any more truthful than That 70's Show. The crime dramas tend to ignore the full picture, so you might be better off with that in terms of checking out what it'd be like with school-age kids.

True, once something is made illegal crims will most likely take it over. Although i think that with drugs (esp. the more hardcore sort) there will always be some lose/lose situation because if it was legalised then people would probably still abuse their useage anyway, and it would potentially make drug lords into legitimate businessmen (which some people may find morally wrong considering it's been illegal for so long).
And then if it's illegal like it is now, well we have scenarios like what you just said |D

ok, one question about fan characters.
I have established the 'no relationships' part already, but can our fan characters be frinds/close friends with Izm and/or A.E.D.? That questions been buzzing around in my head for A while. And of Course I know to keep Iam, and A.E.D. in charcter.

Dunno, hardcore hippies might scare them a little bit, otherwise they'd just treat them as they would anyone else. Izm might crack a few jokes at their expense though

So, I decided to draw these two, and am working on it with my not-so-good tablet skills, but nevertheless, its coming along, however, i am disregarding their shortness, short guys my age bug me. Not sure why, but short + male doesnt work in my world. But feel proud, HH and Redback's Weakness has gotten me off my lazy arse to doodle!

Except there's a minor problem in that this ref is in my old work folder, which until recently was on my external hard drive (the one that crashed and burned)
Luckily i think i have all that sorta old work backed up on a disk somewhere (

You could always do some rough sketches of basic slides, etc. and redraw this. :/ Making a newer/updated one with more little details and revamped ideas for their characters would probably be a good exercise anyways, even if it's a tad tedious. At least it's uploaded to the web. 
Haven't you developed them a lot more as characters since this ref was made? <3 More info for them! A mini/less intense flash ref for my boy Markie and other assorted sub characters would be keen too, but focus on your main boys for now.

It was done in Flash MX and with quite a bit of actionscript coding etc
If you want to make one (you gotta have flash first) i've made this simple character ref template that you can customise
