I think it's a combination of the long legs/short torsos, the big anime eyes, and the rounder faces. Guys tend to have more angular faces when drawn in that kind of anime-style.
I forgot to ask you today: when do you leave for The Island? It must be any day now. We should hang out since you won't be able to come to my housewarming or any other gathering I hold over the semester break
