And make it...quintuple...i guess?This is what i did in my spare time because i had the sudden stupid urge to make one of those Pokemon Trainer Card thingos ಠ_ಠ
Call it a moment of nostalgia lol. And possibly boredom.
I didn't really like any of the formats for cards that the online creators make, so i created a slightly better looking version of a basic template from scratch. The mugshot area was added because it looked so plain with just the little sprites there
Each Pokeymonz where chosen for their Hedone Highers because they reflected something about the character
even if it's just a rather obscure reason, for instance Arcanine for Wei Ren mainly to play on his Asian heritage...Yes .D got a Chansey
And now onward to try and think of something more Halloweeny

*cheers* lol~ This is great~ I love Izm's sprite (He reminds me of a Rocket's pose???) not to mention his team - maybe 'cause I love scyther and ariados- but that's not the point... I think it might be the colours of his team... It's a great mixture.

Wow, Izm actually looks like a badass instead of just goofy xD He's actually rather sexy when sinister. I love how all of them look in the mugshots! I can't pick if I like Zeke for the starkness of his eyes or .D best. Because....well c'mon, it's .D!

When i draw the gang i usually draw the fun side of Izm, but the "badass" side is also very much a part of his character X3
Aha the sprite i used for Zeke didnt actually have proper eyes so i had to draw them in...pokemon style eyes are harder to pixel than i initially thought |D

this makes me wonder; Zeke has sleeping problems, can Jigglypuff(sp? I have seen any pokemon names in forever) put him to sleep? If not that kid is in troubleXD anyway i love this to bits great work

Sprites where one first uses "bases" is a lot easier to do then starting pixel art from scratch (i'm still not so good with pixel art from scratch!) |D
It's just a matter of taking time to making sure they look good and making sure there are no stray pixels in the lineart that will make it look chunky or irregular. I'm sure you could do awesome pixel work after a bit of practice!
