Description I did this after watching jermilex's valuable tutorial about manual lighting.... and this is my second creation. I used Maya Mental ray... No GI and FG...... I am so happy... because this method drive me to right way of lighting.... and No more Flickering problems..... No more waste Render time....

Thank you friend.... i did not use render passes for this. lighting method was new to me. but for my future works i use render passes.... GI = Global Illumination FG = Final Gathering

it is a Gnomon workshop Tutorial by Pixar artist jeremy vickery. but it is not still in Gnomon Tutorial gallery.... may be you can search it in google. if i find links ill post....
