this is really funny! though i have a question though. how did you make this? did you draw it out first and colored it on photoshop? and if you did draw it how did you make the different parts smaller? unless you managed to fit all of it on a single piece of paper.

I drew most of it on one sheet of paper, but had to use a second for the last three panels
Then I inked it by hand and colored+lettered it on the computer.

Uh, I used my graphics editing program. You can do it with pretty much an one of them, even (though I don't recommmend it) MS Paint.

Slade being in *love* with anyone is ludicrous, of course. But lust? Much harder to rule out.
Why's Robin at the end there, anyway? Raven's really the least plausible out of the three--he never tried to recruit her as a personal "apprentice." *cough* *cough*

Can't argue with (3)[since humor's subjective and all], but:
1) Uh, based on...? Comics-Deathstroke is a whole different guy. (And even with what little I know of him, having had heterosexual relationships doesn't prove someone scores a zero on the Kinsey scale.)
2) Robin hates Slade, yeah, but not so much the other way around. Slade enjoys their fights waay too much for that. Plus the obsessive apprenticeship thing. You don't take people you hate under your wing (however twisted and coercive it might be).

2) Are you seriously suggesting that because Slade might be able to tolerate Robin if Robin were loyal to him... that he might ALSO be comfortable sticking his you know up Robin's whatsit? That seems... twisted.

I don't think knock-azathoth means Slade finds Robin appeling in a sexual relationship... It's more like he sees Robin like a son. He even mentions that he could be like his father during the Aprentice pt1 or pt2 arcs (not sure which but it was while Robin was his aprentice) Then Robin states that he already has a father and the screen shows a bunch of bats flying away. Which leads us to think that he was refuring(sp?) to Batman.

1) Ah yes, Jericho. I loved it when he turned up in S5. (His relation to Slade in this continuity is sadly never explored and may not exist, but I'll give you Rose.) But there is this thing. Called bisexuality? It happens. Past heterosexual relationships don't = proof of 100% inflexible heterosexuality. (Again, the Kinsey scale is a marvelous thing...)
2) Well, more than "tolerate;" Slade seriously wants Robin as his loyal-yet-treacherous errand boy pretty badly, and there's nothing that really *rules out* the sexual interpretation (Slade's official explanation is awful vague), so... yeah. Don't think it's completely outlandish. Of course it's all ambiguous and never going to be canon, but it's about on the same level of Unlikely as RobRae or Raven/BB or Cyborg/anyone... just with more evil.

1) When one consistently engages in nothing but heterosexual relationships, one must assume that they are either completely heterosexual or aren't interested in exploring their latent bisexuality. The Kinsey scale is used to justify far too much shipping-idiocy.
2) The big black-and white Y7 in the corner of the frame rules out the sexual interpretation. Slade is creepy enough without throwing borderline-pedophilia into the mix.

I agree about pretty much all of it, however...I do think that while Slade certainly doesn't love Robin, he wouldn't have minded hot sex with him. He'd be on top obviously.
Some of the lines Slade gives in TT to Robin is so blatantly sexual I wonder how it got on cartoon network.

Very nice, although I wish you had not used Noel as the 'self-insert' example. He has his Stu moments, but they are balanced out by good writing... And Slade can still kick his ass, unlike most of the annoying little non-canon bastards. Now if only the rest of fandom would work the same way...
