Another DnD piece recreating a scene from our game. A Huge Dwarf Barbarian, a Tiefling Knight, and an Azer Cannon Mage face off against the severed hand of Kurtulmak (a Kobold god).

From a technique point of view I used Burnt Umber for toning for the first time (coupled with a microfiber clothe) -- it work VERY well. I also found the first brush that I actually hate -- a Simply Simmons Flat 8... it has a hidden little dagger of bristles that scrape like a palette knife from time to time. I'll 'brush out' or 'thoroughly' inspect new brushes from now on.
