A painting based on a trip to Greece I took with my wife.

My focus for this painting was trying to get some sense of realism in the glasses... I'm particularly happy with the complexity shown in the left glass (the finger visible through) and maintaining colour separation between the sea and the top of the church.

This canvas I toned using Ultramarine Blue mixed with Titanium white -- I toned it WAY too heavy making it pretty hard to get the warmer colours to pop... if I were to do it again I would have toned it in with the Ultramarine on top and Yellow Ocher on the bottom.
