More portrait practice -- this time of Superman... I'm happy that it looks good / relatively real... I think being somewhat limited by the small canvas size. There is definitely something off in the face -- the mouth is the culprit I think.

I tried two technique related things here -- first everything was mixed from the painting primaries (Ultramarine Blue, Alizarin Crimson, Cadmium Yellow Pale, Titanium White, Ivory Black) and second I toned the canvas using a slurry from a left over palette (basically the paint equivalent of baby poop).
