The ecumenopolis of Trantor, from Isaac Asimov's Foundation and Empire story lines, as seen from space. It is definitely my favorite sci-fi (or real, for that matter) planet. The whole thing is covered with domes except for the Imperial Palace. This is just a sketch I finished up recently. While drawing it I determined that suns and clouds don't behave properly... Anyway, sorry about the lines; I'll upload a better scan when I can.
