What planes would these have replaced ? The F-104s ? The F-4s ? Or the Panavia Tornados that replaced the F-104s ? To be quite honest, in mine own humble opinion. *This* plane would've been far more at home in West Germany than the F-104s ever were, one of the great musings of "What-Ifs" in our world.
