As Oliver Queen is confirmed to have heard of, if not met, Bruce Wayne in Season 6 of Arrow, why shouldn't he have also heard of the Dark Knight? Perhaps, by the time he was off Lian Yu, he could've gotten his inspiration from that very caped vigilante. Of course, we'll never really know for sure.

Now imagine Stephen Amell trying to give the titular character of Arrow, at least in the first season, that reclusive look and dark mood which Robert Pattinson used for his character. Scary, huh?
