Never made a Shimeji before, I hope he turned out well. Let me know if there are any problems with him.

I tried downloading it, but every time I click the file it says "A Java Exception has occurred." I updated the Java software on my computer and even restarted my computer, but it still pops up.

If I was technologically capable, maybe. But, unfortunately I'm not as skilled as I like to believe. I did manage to get a different shimeji downloaded, though, so maybe it's just the file?

You said you had a working one. Well redownload that working one, so you have two of them. In the one you redownloaded there's going to be a folder that is called "img" delete it. In the Signless folder one copy the folder called "img" then past it into the one you deleted the img folder from. Then try it. I hope that helps, if not I'll find someone better with english to explain.

That would be the problem then, copy the application file from a different one and try pasting it into the folder. Thats weird... I just checked by downloading it myself and I am not having that problem, the application was in there

I solved the problem! All I had to do was copy the application file to signless shimeji file. The Signless is now sitting cutely on my screen <3

Ok, I had that problem to, I didn't use Winrar for anything so I just uninstalled it. Then the Jarfix did everything else.

Uninstal winrar, if you have jarfix installed and have java, just simply go into the folder, and double click the program. If it needs you to pick a program to open it with, pick java and try again.

You have to look for it, click browse and you need to find it. It's tedious but you need to find it by clicking browse.

try replacing the img folder in a wirking one with the img folder in the Signless one

You have to draw out each animation step that is in the img folder, in total you'll have about 46 drawings to make one. Then simply replace the img folder.
