I made this study last year based on a photo I took that summer while on vacation on Cuba. As a personal challenge I tried to capture the hues of the skin as faithfully as possible, while also keeping the layer number to a minimum. It was a lengthy, difficult process, but one I really enjoyed, and I quite like how it turned out.
