Description
The main enemies of my web comic in the making, Shades are semi-corporeal amorphous beings of paranormal origin, forcefully entering the material plane after a Solar Eclipse, jump starting the Apocalypse that the story takes place in. During the day, the Shades are incorporeal shadows that travel on two dimensional planes, but at night, they become fully three-dimensional, able to interact and manipulate with the world around them. They are incredibly aggressive to humans, able to sense fear and hopelessness. They can only be harmed in their corporeal form, though with their regenerative abilities, most weapons only slow them down. They are, however, sensitive to strong lights and fire. Overall, their strength, speed, and aggressiveness varies between individuals. Occasionally, they exhibit behavior and vocalizations similar to their previous life
It took long to redesign these boys but oh man did I redesign them. To this day, the Dark Shadow Monster Things Concept I uploaded here 9 years ago was one of most popular deviations. I sure hope this is a major improvement from the old designs
