Typically bitter and ascetic, Monark rarely lets his true feelings show in front of others.

He treats most people with a certain distance - few people remain at the academy as long as he does, not to mention that he feels that tying himself down to a person is a bad idea. Oftentimes, he is intimidating, but he prefers fear over admiration - his way maintaining order. As Headmaster, he will often act aloof and does anything it takes to appear 'professional' in order to maintain his image. Anyone who falls out of line immediately earns his displeasure.
Therefore, it is easy to anger him but very hard to please him. It is possible to earn his trust, but it will take much time and trial before he reaches that comfort zone. To him, action speaks louder than words.

Nevertheless, he maintains strong morals, only killing when necessary. No matter how much he threatens with violence, he will not cause permanent damage; he finds it easier to punish by refusing to pay anyways. He is willing to do anything it takes to preserve the order of the school, even if it is back-breaking work.
Monark takes great pride in the Academy and his family name - though his family has passed away, he still holds great respect for his father and for the previous Headmasters.

It was tradition that the Prides work for the government or military - until Erika Pride of Germany established a military academy of her own, an institution separate from any country. Located on a secluded island off the coast of Western Europe, it became a neutral territory in which any capable student could come to train to his or her finest. Funding for the school comes from the UN as well as the Pride's own wallet.

He was an only child, for his mother passed away during his childhood years due to cancer and his father never had another partner again. Monark does not remember much about the personal life of his father, because they exchanged words sparingly and only worked together when it concerned the Academy.
When Monark was about 5 years of age, he was sent away to the United States to attend elementary school, where he became a fluent English speaker. Following the 7th grade, he began early his training at Academy Milizia, considered a prodigy because he was the youngest student to ever attend.

Monark was raised to be the perfect soldier - an expert strategist.
Unfortunately, he would never quite become the ideal leader, because his education neglected impressing traits such as patience and compassion. Though he was extremely successful for the majority of his youth, he mainly accelled in academics; combat was much harder for him, since his stamina was constantly poor. His Father, who was hard to impress, displayed his disappointment towards his son's inability to take more than one critical hit, spurring on Monark's drive to improve in order to impress his Father.
In order to make up for his weak endurance, he trained vigorously to improve his physical abilities and his tactical skills.

Division Courses Completed:
- Air Force (1st Division, and by far his favorite)
- Combat (2nd Division)
- Intelligence (3rd Division, had the most success but ended half way through the course in order to retake Combat)
- Combat (4th Division, retaken in order to upgrade stats)
- Artillery (5th Division)
- Intelligence (6th Division, finished the remainder of the course here)

He was promoted to Head Officer at age 16, and remained in this position until the winter of his 23rd Year, when his Father unexpectedly passed away on a foreign business trip. (OOC Note: Though Monark has yet to learn that the explosion that had killed his Father was a planned assassination. The ones responsible for the murder is not a single identity, but an entire organization operating covertly with a strong incentive to initiate the war by the means of espionage, sabotage, and corruption. One of its main motives is to close down Academy Milizia for good. This nameless organization later plays a larger role in WWIII.)

Shortly afterwards, Monark Pride was named Headmaster of Academy Milizia, and took on full responsibilities under the title.

Academy Milizia's island base is destroyed 7 years later by unauthorized armed navy vessels. A number of students and administration members died in the line of action, and the entire school is forced to relocate to a private territory in the Switzerland Alps that once belonged to Henrick Pride. It was originally a private recreational ski resort and vacation home for the Pride family, but it was given major modifications to suit the purposes of the incoming Academy.

Monark remains to this day the current infamous Headmaster of Academy Milizia.

- He has a quiet passion for gardening, a very manly hobby of his fostered ever since he was made assistant to the members of the Gardening Club back in his American Elementary School days.
His favorite flower is the Amaryllis, and his favorite colors are red and white.
