Kopaka’s out of armor look has changed sooooo many times over the past few years, I swear. He’s just been the hardest to come up with an idea for. Additionally, his original idea was too similar to his in armor look, and with Tahu’s and Onua’s looking so different… it made more sense for him to have an actual outfit.

So I’ve noticed that my trend with the Nuva is to make them look less like anime heroes, which makes me cackle. Both Kopaka and Tahu have big shifts from their Mata selves to their Nuva selves, and it’s mostly within the hair and facial hair. Tahu goes for a more gruff look, while Kopaka aims for a more groomed look. (I mean, their mata forms are sorta like that too, but it’s now just more mature lol)
