Description
So I’ve posted Yuuki before, but he’s part of a family bloodline of water dragons. Well… kind of.

Yuuki is part of the direct Mythos family bloodline, therefore he is born into the Mythos Covenant, a pact made between two clan members. One person is a Meister, and the other is a Puppit. The power of the Meister is to command the Puppit into shifting into a water dragon or water serpent (depending on the bloodline). The distinction is with the markings on the face: if someone has markings under both eyes, they are a Puppit; if there is only one marking under either eye, they are the Meister. The Covenant cannot be broken once the pact is made… and if an attempt is made to break it, either the Meister or the Puppit will die, or the two souls will merge into one monstrosity. Either way, it is not recommended to try and break the pact. Furthermore, the pact is made through destiny. If either is born without their match, they can either select someone of their choosing or live without the pact ever being made. (It is also possible to be born without needing a partner; it is far more common, especially when someone of the clan marries someone outside of the clan).

Yuuki unfortunately was thrown into the unlikely event of having his pair die during birth, so Yuuki lives as a solo unit. He is technically a Puppit, but because he does not have a Meister, he cannot shift into his draconian side.

Yuuki is very softspoken and is not one to fight or argue. He’s the younger brother of Kaito, another Puppit, and are the direct descendants of the main family. Kaito is married to Hailee, whom was very close to Yuuki and Kaito growing up. Yuuki serves as a something like a shaman for his clan’s “religion” (that is the best way to describe it) with his grandfather, since he has no intentions of trying to find a pair.

One day, upon collecting materials for his shrine, he met a group of outsiders from the Fire Realm, and was captured by them for sometime. Their leader, Seth, forced him into sharing details about the Mythos Covenant, as each realm has something similar. After being banned from entering several other realms for a similar reason, Seth saw an opportunity to force Yuuki into making a pact with him. Unbeknownst to Yuuki, at the time, Seth was also born into a family similar to the Mythos’, but wanted to try and collect as many puppits as he could and command an army of draconian creatures.

Making a pact is similar to that of making a blood pact, sealed with a kiss (if one was not born with a partner). But Seth… Seth is a villain, through and through. Broken, abused, and horribly confused, Yuuki was able to to his village after the ritual was completed… only to shift into his serpent self and murder the vast majority of his family and clan. Utterly devastated with the act, caused by Seth forcing him to kill his friends and family, Yuuki left as a slave with Seth as he continued to find other bloodlines and clans. Seth would later team up with one of the evil armies (I haven’t decided on who yet) to kill off the remaining members of the Mythos clan before anyone could either kill him or Yuuki. After killing off the remaining clan members (this is years later), Yuuki was able to successfully let two children escape before he could no longer contain his sanity and killed their parents - those children were later found to be Lance and Wave, who are his nephews (technically speaking).

After the destruction was done, Yuuki turned on Seth and attempted to break the pact with him by attempting to kill him, and then himself… but was trapped in the loop of destiny, and ended up merging souls with Seth. Because Yuuki was the last to “die,” both souls converged in his body, and Seth lives as something like a split personality, and rent free in Yuuki’s mind.
