just for fun c:

eh, didn't draw manga in 2003/04, usually just doodled, wasn't that serious about drawing.

in late 2005 I started drawing manga, it started by that I saw my brother watching anime, we shared room back then, he said it was anime, I got curious and liked it, so I wanted to draw like that too, he directed me to a site to start learning, howtodrawmanga.com , which atm looking back I don't think is good, though the more recent ones (from this year) are good c:

in 2006 I started using photoshop, in the first drawing, I didn't know what layers was, in October my dad bought me a trust tablet, they aren't that expensive, and back then it was really hard to find any store selling any tablets at all here in Norway, so I was really happy.

In 2007 I discovered pen tool, and I used it for lineart. I still abused dodge/burn just like in 2006, so nothing new there.
Later in the year I stopped doing that and started choosing colors for shades, but still used dodge for hair highlights.

In 2008 I stopped using dodge and burn completely, I did lineart and color by tablet, I practiced sketching on the computer, and I loved to re-draw old drawings whenever I didn't know what to draw.

In 2009, I quit using photoshop and SAI became what I used for a lot, I really liked SAI's stabilizer function, making it easier to get nice, clean strokes.

this year I plan to either start working huge resolution again which I did from 2006-2008, or to at least switch back to photoshop. I don't want to get stuck on SAI, because I've never tried printing out anything as a print if drawn on SAI, and I hope to attend cons in my country in the future with both traditional drawings and prints. In which I'm not sure if SAI is good for, since SAI don't have CMYK.

I still don't know how to come up with poses, so I still draw a bit bland in my opinion
