Ok. So after some thinking and rping with my friend, , we finally came up with some ideas as to how to add their human alter Rose to my main storyline since Azul and Dex were already making appearances in it and Rose wanted to get in on the fun. I figured since, Dex had no backstory yet, except for the little thing with meeting me and Fantasmagora, it helped to combine him with Rose. (Since he is actually one of Rose's nekos irl and outside of this AU.)

Rose became a Twilight Guardian after she was found as a child by Strify who was starting out as leader of the Twilight Guardians at the time. He found her as an orphan after her parents were killed by a rogue Nightmare Beast. He took the child in and she was actually his first student before me and Dalton. One day she got separated from Strify and was found by the Nightmares who had wiped her memories of him. She could not remember herself as being a Twilight Guardian and was left wandering until she met Fantasmagora who took her and brought her back to Strify.

Strify now realized what the Nightmares had done and was stuck having to get the poor girl out of her state of amnesia. Eventually she started to gain her memories back of being Strify's student over time as his Twilight powers could only recover so much of her memories. However, she still is a bit fuzzy about certain things, which is why Strify figured she would need help. Now in the present day, Strify finally found her the perfect partner after we had realized that the stray neko I adopted, Dex, actually knew her and used to be her pet neko. They were reunited and with Strify's blessing they became a fighting pair like Moshi and I. Dex now has the ability to become Rage Dex and just like Moshi his powers are activated by a Twilight Guardian ringing his bell. Rose also has a magic necklace which she can use to call Strify or any of us when she needs backup.
