Another chapter I liked the dialogue in this one - you do a great job of showing the relationship between crew members. Some of the text is kind of technical and might not read well for anyone not already a fan of hard scifi or military/naval type stories. I wasn't particularly bothered. Everything makes sense in context, and that lets your reader keep going without getting confused. 

I think it's a good followup to where you left off on Chapter 2. It sounds like Chapter 4 will be told as a flashback rather than a story-within-a-story. Looking forward to reading it ^_^
