The day issue #1 was released, I went from comic shop to comic shop in Tulsa asking if they had and sold out of the variant cover and got dumbfounded looks with "there was a variant?" Now I've finally stumbled onto the proof and no longer have to rely on Internet hearsay.

The tragedy of Skeletor is that as badass as he is, at the end of the day he's always just gonna try and take over Eternia with talking apple trees that lie, or giant holographic bears, and in the end he'll get his butt handed to him over the remains of his silly needlessly complicated plan.
As evidence I submit the episode where, finally left to his own devices, Beast Man basically takes over the world in an afternoon by breaking things and hitting people.

In the short amount of time this cover has been seen by the public, it has become one of my favorite Skeletor art pieces. Fantastic job with the painting, the detail, the perspective, all the action, the pose ... just all of it. I hope one day they let you do the interior art, too!
