I'm also reminded of Disney animation like that of Atlantis, Treasure Planet, and Princess and the Frog. Nice job. Checking out the rest of your gallery, there is also quite a lot of similar things there as well. Perhaps Disney should hire you if they ever decide to do a Star Wars short.
