I love the contrast of colors between the near black background and the brightness of the sunflower petals. Plus the details on the leaves and the seeds in the center is awesome! It is very nice how the main focus is the flower on the left but the one on the right brings in some more color and just enough stuff to bring the picture together.
I grew up in Kansas and we are known as the sunflower state. So this brings back memories of when I was little and we would grow lots of sunflowers then watch as the birds ate the seeds in the center. It also reminds me warm summer days with a cool glass of lemonade in hand!
Though there are many pictures of flowers out there with a view similar to this none are quite so memory filled (to me) as this one is.
