as if depth were an illusionjust a graphical display
to highlight some purpose
be it for aethetic reasons
or to invoke a reaction
or simply as a means of distraction
entertainment has become
a way of life
a replacement for life itself
are we here for own amusement
or for the amusement of others
as if i have the answer
that takes another kind of depth
a differenct kind of perception
as if you didn't know
you just can't be bothered
to busy
trapped
in the depths of the illusion
between the foreground
and the background
the subject is you
as if you didn't know

i think you probably meant for the 2nd line in the last verse to be "too busy" .. not really criticizing, but i'm an editor & tend to notice these things. And it actually made me pause ... "to busy what" i thought ... and then ... ahhh, "too busy"
