walking into the unknown

we don't walk into the unknown
it's if we were on tracks
like a train or a tram
apart from the ocasional diversion

we might think that it is our destiny
but we avoid our destiny
when we follow a routine by the clock
and ignore all intuition

have we come to fear change
or do we enjoy living this way
with what we know
at the expense of what we don't know?

we think we are safe
but the world is a more dangerous place without us
with out the risks only we can take
or not... as the case may be
