Basically a prey OC; Meredith was born unlucky; in a family where each female is destined to be a pred, Meredith got the short end of the stick where she emits certain pheromones that makes her likelier to get devoured. Not helping matters is her crabby personality. It causes her to fail a lot due to provoking any would-be predators to eat her.

The only solace for her is that one of her great grandparents was an esteemed Voodoo practitioner who is able to claim her soul, tying some strings to resurrect her. But she ultimately is fated to be eaten regardless of who it is. About 55 times take or leave, but at that point, Meredith had become desensitized to her fate transforming to a greatly pessimistic young girl.

She is the "nemesis" of Ms. Beatingu and the two often get up in arms with each other. Given how she is for all intents "immortal," Meredith harbors no fear of her teacher unlike with the other classmates who would be marked as present for the rest of the year when they're actually stewing in Ms. Beatingu's "detention chamber."

Meredith, in turn, often conflicts with her over homework; ignoring assignments; disobedience, etc.
