St Mary's the Virgin, Chapel Hill, Tintern - shot in InfraredGutted by fire in 1977. Significantly more overgrown than it was on my previous visits in 2007/2008. Slowly being reclaimed by nature

It's surreal and spooky, yet still bears it's old grace and grandeur... The infrared gives it that extra edge. Wonderful.

This is a beautiful picture...I love the contrast of the white against a dark navy blue sky....I love how everything looks like it's covered in snow (I happen to love winter and snow and such). The church looks haunting, with ghosts waiting inside, yet it also seems a place to run to for comfort and salvation for those who are darker at heart but, not evil. They just view the world differently.

This is so beautiful. At first I thought it was all frosted over as I have seen in the high country when it rains and then freezes. But, you fooled me. And I am glad to admit it.
