6'*6'inch drawing on bristol board, commission for Julie
there's wasn't much reference image to choose from for those two, so I picked one and improvised a bit with colors. I wanted something more sober and vampiric, so I went with grayscale colors and purple related ones
hope you like it
next up will be Emmet and another Bella piece

I am probably the only one in the whole DA who found that movie out very boring and too Hollywood sugar-coated. But I still liked Jasper and Alice, both of the actors were good and cute. ~

do you use pencil sketch first? cause I can't see it, and do you use grids? :3

no pencil sketch with colored drawing (no good!), I use measurements from various points
I start with an eye and calculate all from that point, wiht progress, some more point add and so on...
use same size ref image to ease measurements

do you trace the outline of the image so that you can simply focus on the colours?

no, I calculate my distances from a point actually
take measurements on my ref image, that is better suited to be same size
I don't use graphite, only colors
