what do you mean by "watercolor pencil blended in marker"? you mean you didnt use water to blend the colored pencils?

that's it, I use watercolor pencil dry and marker fade the lines in the portrait, so it doesn't look 'drawn' but more 'painted'
enhanced with precision multiliners

colored markers of course but I also use blender markers as well in the process, helps fade colors or diminish color effect
