a composition on the theme of Padme's furenal for a client.
Death isn't the End means that even with her death, Padme's children will shape the future. It's also a glimpse of a life after death where Anakin is present with her as a memory of better days.

I can't say enough how perfect this work of art is. It looks so much like a scene taken straight from the movie - that is how much detail you put into everything. Everything just flows together seamlessly. One of the best things is, in my opinion, the fact that you were able to incorporate the two scenes together.

I'm not a huge fan of Padme and Anakin (as Annie is so damn angsty it pains me) but this picture is GORGEOUS! So so so beautiful, I this soo much! Love all the deatils and technique and the scenes you chose!

I'm not much a fan of Star Wars, but I did follow it some, and it was because of Padme.
This piece, as I'm sure you know and have already been told by thousands, is gorgeous. I was absolutely spellbound when I saw it, and I couldn't even comprehend the proper words for several minutes. It didn't hurt that I was listening to frighteningly fitting music that only amplified my interest in the piece.

Since I can prattle forever on emotional content alone, I'll start with technique. I surely don't have to tell you, but your skill is absolutely amazing. It appears as if each stroke of the materials was put in thoughtfully and lovingly and the colors are absolutely gorgeous and vibrant and just fill the eyes...yet it's a deep feeling, not an overbearing feeling. I can imagine that if I had seen this in person, my eyes may have watered from the sheer skill and image at first glance.

Emotionally, I honestly can say that this entire piece strikes the heart with all too familiar pain and remembrance. Padme just looks so peaceful, but knowing what one would if they followed Star Wars at all, to me, it almost appears as though she patiently waiting, even in death. Perhaps for Anikin to join her at her side, perhaps for him to realize his wrongs, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps. I just couldn't say that I feel entirely that she's completely free and at peace in death, especially seeing her here.

The details of the candles and small flowers in her hair are stunning and just small details that add to the picture, giving it more weight and flow, and weighing it more heaving in my chest. I don't become too technical or symbolic with things very often, so I would rather say that merely seeing something so small a detail as a bloom amongst the locks of her hair makes my heart ache and my chest constrict.

And then finally the upper part of the piece. Just Padme's expression here stole my breath away. I love how rather than paint her as deeply in love or sad, you have her looking almost anxious or hesitant, reluctant even, paired with enchantment, because it truly does suit her better I feel, since that is how I always perceived her and Anikin's relationship, though I only have memories of the movies from years ago to aid me in my own recollection.

Either way, this piece truly resonated with me and I'm ever so grateful that I happened across it. It is absolutely lovely.
