11*14 painting commission on bristol boarda tribute to Heath Ledger as the Joker in his last role, but such a memorable one

overall enhanced in oil paint, especially the sky and background areas

This wasn't his last role though. Heath Ledger died while shooting "The imaginarium of Dr Parnassus".[link] directed by Terry Gilliam.
After his death, it was decided that three other actors were to be added to the cast to finish the movie : Johnny Depp, Colin Ferrel and Jude Law.
The movie came out last year and I recommend it if you haven't seen it yet.

This is absolutely beautiful! I love the colors and the different angles. And the city in the background is really nice. This is definately the best tribute I've ever seen.

but there was another movie he did after the Dark Knight. Its called The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus. Its a good movie, and just recently came out on DVD

i used 3 weeks, but I'm not a full time artist, so I spend only a few hours a day or none at all in a given day. that's more convenient to do sketch cards, but I do take bigger piece as commission as well

Before anyone laughs, Cesar Remero's Joker was not so much a manaic, but he was devious and you can see a lot of his character in the other actors take on the Joker.
Still great work, it would be nice to see a picture with all three Jokers
