I know this isnt really anything special, at least not until i tell you what its from.

the picture you are looking at is a bunch of assets i put together in photoshop from a rare PPG cartoon network style guide that i recently picked up for a good price i might add.

what is a style guide? a style guide is basically a blue print that allows third parties to make licensed merchandise. it comes in a small binder and a cd or a few cds included. this is what you would see if you went to toy r us like shirts hats pants purses packaging for toys or school supplies dvd art, or a waffle iron (yes the waffle iron is real look it up). they were also used to create commercials promo posters and even flash or shockwave games back in the day.

i find these fascinating to look at. and as far as im aware every cartoon on CN has a style guide. there are 4 of them that i know of for PPG alone. the main one, stylized, movie version, and the later one for the season 5 and 6 art style. the ppg ones are the most common since PPG had tons of merch.

so technically speaking i could make my own shirts or whatever if i wanted to. however im sure its not legal to do. but after 25 years i have my doubts anything would come up it. no im not going to make shirts lol. but if you were wondering how shirts still exist today even though they havent made any in years its cause the people making them have these old style guides. the files on the disc are EPS format which is basically a vector based file. they can be opened in illustrator or photoshop. theres also a EPS viewer that allows you to view or save the file as a png or jpg in any resolution.

and im sorry this isnt a high resolution or quality i dont want to l3ak this stuff around. cause im not sure if its even legal to post. i just wanted to inform people about these guides existence cause there cool imo.
