ive always wanted to experiment with a fish eye but never wanted to spend alot on a fish eye. for a f mount fisheye it was 800 back in the day. as of now there no nikon release for a fisheye so i got a 140 dollar 7artiston 7mm 2.8
for a 140 dollar lens its not bad as long as its closed down to 5.6 and up. it not a FF lens its a crop lens. wide open there a bit of hallowing or softness around contrast objects like dark to light colors. i havent tried it on stars like the milky way yet. but i plan to. i expect that will look better wide open at night.
