Description
Created in 2017, the 5-part series "44 Words" (3401 px x 3401 px per piece) visualises the artist's confession of a formerly suppressed affection in a real-life situation under taboo circumstances.

The artwork's most distinctive features, namely:
• A background pattern based on ancient sea shells created through a kaleidoscope filter,
• An expression combining the Latin script with the Arabic one and
• A continuous non-rhyming poetry based on haikus
are meant to subtly convey the moods of saudade and a hidden desire in the darkness, while being underlined by a mostly monochromatic colour palette ranging from bordeaux and pale rosy brown over plum purple and puce red to white and dark chocolate.
