Taken on my Japan tour last year, on forested hill closed in by the suburban life of Asuka in Nara Prefecture. A nifty bamboo forest I found in a remote town.Related content

I love this shot. I live in an old growth pine woods and have tried this perspective many times but it works so much better with the curved and crossed lines of the bamboo.

I've found the same problem with other woods; bamboo does just seem to work.
